Gareth Cook

After a career in teaching in various parts of England and in West Africa, and eventually 14 years at Sunderland Polytechnic (subsequently Sunderland University) , in retirement I became linked with a number of voluntary organisations in the East of Sunderland. Currently I am one of the management group of Hendon 2000. I am interested in Community Development and in information technology. Formerly I was on the board of Voices in which capacity I learned a lot about employment law and about finance for voluntary organisations. I have also experience as a school governor.
