The Health Partnership is responsible for delivering the ‘Improving Health and Social Care’ chapter of the Sunderland Strategy by ensuring that everyone living and working in Sunderland is able to enjoy a healthy life with access to excellent health and social care facilities when needed.

Age Concern Sunderland has recently been appointed as the community host for Sunderland Local Involvement Network (LINk). The ‘Link’ is a Government initiative to replace and build on the work of the Public Patient Involvement Forums (PPI’s) which ceased to operate in March of 2008.
